CECILIA AMANKWAH

Country Director, Ghana, Literacy Director
Cecilia Amankwah serves as Engage Now Africa’s Ghana Country Director and Director of Literacy. Though her skill set is vast, her greatest expertise revolves around facilitating the integration of like-minded NGOs to promote good initiatives. She is a strong advocate for literacy.
In the past Ceclia has worked as an accountant for Biglebb Contractions & Crashing in Ghana, and as an Administrative Assistant with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Cecilia has also worked with members of the Peace Corps, Parliament, community leaders and chiefs, and other high ranking officials. She has been instrumental in developing literacy manuals both locally and internationally. Her work has been featured in several ENA newsletters and blogs.
Cecilia has a Diploma in Business Commerce, a Bachelor’s of Commerce Degree from University of Cape Coast, and a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Cape Coast, and a Commonwealth Executive Master’s in Public Administration from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
