MTN Ghana and Engage Now Africa (ENA) joined for a life-changing partnership during MTN’s Y’ello Care Campaign. The campaign’s focus on community service and self-reliance prompted MTN employees to volunteer for 21 days, dedicating their time and resources to empower individuals in Osu, Accra.
ENA’s expertise played a crucial role as they selected 450 beneficiaries to receive comprehensive vocational skills, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship training. This collaboration aimed to equip participants with the tools to create a better future for themselves and their communities.
The impact of the partnership was genuinely transformative. Through practical knowledge and hands-on experience, the beneficiaries gained the confidence to pursue entrepreneurship opportunities, fostering a sense of empowerment.
The vocational skills training improved their livelihoods and instilled a strong sense of community upliftment. The project’s success was further amplified by the support and recognition received, as their hand-made products gained appreciation and were purchased by trainers, dignitaries, and guests.
