Construction of maternal health clinics in Kindia Town, Sierra Leone; Guusi, Ghana; and Bishoftu and Ketta, Ethiopia, are underway. We happily announce that all four clinics will be operational by November 2024. In each clinic, our teams have worked with leaders and local community members from project inception to ensure that we meet local needs and create a sense of ownership. These communities are too far from other medical facilities to reach quickly in emergencies or regularly for services such as prenatal care. Community members express the impact these facilities will make on their health and well-being with safer pregnancies, ante and post-natal care, and trained clinical staff to mentor and teach.
