MTN Ghana and Engage Now Africa (ENA) came together for a life-changing partnership during MTN’s Y’ello Care Campaign. The campaign’s focus on community service and self-reliance prompted MTN employees to volunteer for 21 days, dedicating their time and resources to empower individuals in Osu, Accra. ENA’s expertise played a crucial role as they selected 450 beneficiaries to receive comprehensive training in vocational skills, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship. This collaboration aimed to equip participants with the tools they needed to create a better future for themselves and their communities.
The impact of the partnership was truly transformative. Through practical knowledge and hands-on experience, the beneficiaries gained the confidence to pursue entrepreneurship opportunities, fostering a sense of empowerment among them. The vocational skills training not only improved their livelihoods but also instilled a strong sense of community upliftment. The project’s success was further amplified by the support and recognition received, as their hand-made products gained appreciation and were purchased by trainers, dignitaries, and guests.
MTN Ghana and Engage Now Africa’s joint efforts serve as a powerful example of the positive change that collaboration can bring. By investing in education, vocational skills, and entrepreneurship, this partnership laid the foundation for lasting community development and economic empowerment.
