On July 20th, our medical staff at the Lyn Maternal Health Clinic gathered with our Ghana staff for COVID-19 training. This training was designed to teach health prevention practices in a viral pandemic, to ensure the medical staff continue to maintain an exemplary standard of cleanliness, and to ensure proper COVID-19 prevention standards are met. Our nurses created an outreach strategy to stop the spread in surrounding communities.
Our Training Focused on the Key Areas of:
• Preventing the spread of COVID-19.
• Identifying signs and symptoms of COVID-19.
• Collaborating with practitioners to determine who is most at-risk.
This comprehensive skill training provided our staff with an extra level of knowledge to not only protect themselves, but also keep those attending the clinic safe.
