Palace Gold Child Support is a fully registered NGO authorized by the Department of Social Welfare to support poor and needy children in Ghana. Their main objective is to help reduce child delinquency in deprived communities by implementing the logistics needed to promote positive childhood development. In light of ongoing economic hardships, neglected and vulnerable children experience varying degrees of psychological, emotional and sometimes physical abuse. Palace Gold Support Organization currently organizes classes for over 80 participants between the ages of 4 and 14. An excerpt from our Mission Statement clearly states “We engage and strengthen individuals, families, and communities to end poverty by instilling hope teaching principles of sustainability…..” It is on this note that ENA Ghana staff made a trip to Palace Gold Support Organization in the Central Region of Ghana on February 4, 2016. Our staff comprised of Francis Ansah, Afasi Komla, Emmanuel Mills Obboh, Jeffery Nyarko and Cecilia Amankwah.
