Marian Hassan_ Oct2015_SuccessStory_ClothingBundles Marian Hassan is the owner of Frediemay Enterprise. She is a 35 year old wife and mother  of four who runs a successful secondhand clothing business at the Central Market in Kumasi, Ghana. She began this micro credit business 4 years ago with the help of Engage Now Africa. Her first clothing store was destroyed in a fire and, as a result, she lost all her business and inventory. But with the help of Engage Now Africa, she was not only able to rebuild her store, but, apply the new business principles she learned in her business training courses. After her training, she decided to change her business model. Rather than selling retail clothing, she now sells bails of second hand clothing because her profit margins are much higher. Marian says that “The 6p’s I learned from  class made me aware that if your business is not helping you, there should be a way out that is moving into a different business and this is why I moved into the sale second clothing in bail”. Marian’s larger profits now allow her to care for her children and her future goal is to expand her business. Expansion will enable her to buy more bails of clothing, move to a larger store front and have even larger profits. She encourages all members of Engage Now Africa’s business training courses to take their micro credit business training classes very seriously and make it their responsibility to fulfill their duties honestly.]]>
