During ENA’s June 2013 expedition to the Village of Teddecha, we discovered a young boy named Taddeles who had a large keloid near his right ear. Taddeles is ten years old and after his mother passed away when he was one years old, his father has been raising him on his own. Taddeles’ father said that he first noticed the keloid when Taddeles was four and he has watched it steadily grow throughout the past six years.
Taddeles’ keloid was removed on August 3, 2013 and the surgery went very well!
We received numerous reports that Taddeles’ incision was healing wonderfully and he was also enjoying the new clothing and shoes he received from ENA to attend school.
During a follow up visit to the village of Teddecha this month, we were finally able to meet up with Taddeles to check on his progress for ourselves.
We are thrilled to show you how Taddeles’ right ear looks now!
Thank you to all of the doctors,  nurses and ENA staff who help Taddeles’ recovery a success!
