ENA was able to personally deliver a large quantity of hygiene and newborn kits directly to human trafficking survivors (faces blurred for their protection) in Uganda. ENA is providing aftercare support to numerous survivors along with our partners Kyampisi Childcare Ministries (KCM). Pictured below is ENA staff delivering the kits to KCM’s Shelin Kasozi and young survivors of human trafficking that ENA and its partners helped rescue in 2015.

Below is a picture of one young mother and her baby (faces blurred for their protection) who received one of the newborn kits. As soon as she received the gift, she instantly opened the bag and began using the blanket from the kit to swaddle her child. Uganda 2016Recipient2blurSMALL

Thank you to our friends in New York City who took their time and resources to make a real difference in the lives of these young mothers and survivors! The kits you donated with love were truly appreciated and received with much gratitude and excitement! The knowledge that someone out there truly cares gives these women the knowledge that they matter and helps restore their hope for the future. Want to help too? If you are unable to donate at this time, then there are so many ways to get involved and help! Below are some ideas to help make an impact in the lives of human trafficking survivors from right here at home: 15EasyFundraisingIdeasFlyer Thank you!  ]]>
